About Us
Fernwood was purchased by Ranch Caravan Parks Ltd during the 1960's when it was 66 acres of beautiful woodland and open countryside. It has been sympathetically developed to retain the beauty of its natural surroundings, and is greatly enhanced by the man made lake, which offers enjoyable fishing for all ages. Our 40 acres of woodland are ideal for visitors with dogs or just a leisurely stroll. The informal layout of the holiday homes, together with the retention of mature trees, shrubs, hedges and woodland, and continued planting, all help to integrate the Park into its natural surroundings. Judith has been resident manager for over 30 years, and along with an experienced team of staff, you can be sure of an enjoyable stay.
